Our founder, Anagha Gowda (from Johns Creek High School in Atlanta, Georgia) has made it her mission to provide GHS Guddekeri with all the tools that it needs to educate and empower its students so that they can fulfill their aspirations in the STEM field. Our Founder, Anagha Gowda's  message: 

For the last 3 years, I have started and have been involved in an initiative to support a government run school in the interiors of Karnataka, a state in South India. The school has kids from mostly under privileged tribal and farming backgrounds. Many of the kids are ambitious to pursue careers in STEM with little or no resources to advance their aspirations. I have involved myself with the kids who are currently in high school, sharing ideas and learning along the way with them. Since 2021, I have immersed myself in this initiative by fundraising and helping the students meet tuition needs after they graduate in order to complete their education. Periodic interactions with the students have helped me understand their socioeconomic conditions and how it impacts learning, especially post Covid era. I will continue to fulfill and share my dreams with the kids from GHS Guddekeri in Shivamogga district, Karnataka in order to lead a path together for the betterment of the field of STEM.
